Client Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Obscura. By subscribing to our service or using our platform, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Our Role

Obscura provides private access to a carefully vetted network of premium trades and services (“Delivery Partners” or “DPs”). We act as an introducer and facilitator only — we do not deliver services ourselves and we are not a party to the agreement between you and the DP.

2. What Your Subscription Includes

Your monthly subscription grants you:

  • Access to submit service requests through a private link (provided upon signup)

  • A timely response from Obscura (we aim for within 4 hours max)

  • A personalised introduction to a matched, pre-vetted Delivery Partner

  • Ongoing support during the job, including basic coordination if needed

  • A follow-up after completion to ensure satisfaction and record performance

3. What’s Not Included

Your subscription does not include:

  • Guaranteed availability of any specific DP

  • Management of job scheduling or payments

  • Replacement of a DP if they decline a job or underperform

  • Liability for the work completed by a DP

4. Payments & Liability

  • Obscura does not handle or collect payment for jobs. All payments are made directly between you and the Delivery Partner.

  • Obscura is not liable for:

    • The quality or outcome of any service

    • Delays, damages, or injuries caused by a DP

    • Any disputes or losses resulting from the use of our network

We strongly recommend exercising your own judgment before proceeding with any work or quote provided.

5. Our Vetting Process

We conduct an initial vetting process for all Delivery Partners, including:

  • Checks on licensing, insurance, reputation, and experience

  • Ongoing review based on real client feedback and internal performance tracking

Our vetting process can be made available to you on request.
However, we do not guarantee that every credential or insurance policy is up-to-date at the time of each request. It is your responsibility to verify this directly with the DP if needed.

6. Subscription & Cancellation

The following terms apply to all client subscriptions:

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly on a rolling basis

  • You may cancel at any time by contacting us directly

  • Upon cancellation, your access will remain active for the remainder of the paid billing period

  • We do not offer refunds for unused time, except in rare circumstances at our sole discretion

7. Client Conduct & Fair Use

To maintain the quality of service:

  • Clients must treat both Obscura and Delivery Partners with respect

  • Service access is intended for personal use only and must not be resold or used on behalf of third parties

  • We reserve the right to limit, pause, or cancel service if your request volume or conduct exceeds what we consider fair use

  • What constitutes “fair use” is determined at our sole discretion

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. If we do, we’ll notify you via email or within your private client area.
